Founder & Owner, Masterpiece Basketball Academy
Jeffrey Hocker is the founder and owner of Masterpiece Basketball Academy, bringing years of hands-on experience and leadership in youth sports development. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Jeffrey grew up surrounded by a competitive basketball culture that shaped his passion for the game and his commitment to helping athletes reach their full potential.
Before launching Masterpiece Basketball Academy in the Fall of 2025, Jeffrey built and successfully bought and sold a sports management company where he specialized in helping coaches and trainers grow and scale their programs. Through that experience, he developed a deep understanding of what it takes to build not only skilled athletes, but strong, sustainable sports organizations.
Now based in the Florida Keys, Jeffrey has created Masterpiece Basketball Academy with a clear mission: to develop athletes both on and off the court. His approach goes beyond basic training, focusing on discipline, confidence, work ethic, and game intelligence—qualities that translate into long-term success in sports and life.
With extensive experience in youth sports, Jeffrey is dedicated to creating an environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and inspired to become the best version of themselves.

Passionate and results-driven basketball coach and professional skills trainer with over a decade of experience developing athletes from youth to professional levels. Known for cultivating disciplined, confident, and skilled players who succeed on and off the court. Brings a strong playing background and proven record of helping athletes reach collegiate and professional success.

- Graduated in 2011; began coaching and training career in 2012
- Over 13 years of experience as a basketball coach and professional skills trainer
- Scored 1,200+ career points as a player with a career-high of 56 points in a single game
- Led Miami-Dade County in 3-pointers as a junior;
- 3-Point Champion in senior year
- MVP All County and selected to the Miami All-Star Team
- Varsity starter since 7th grade, demonstrating leadership and consistency early on
- Has trained and mentored 34+ athletes who went on to play college basketball (Juco to Division I)

Coach ISA
Dedicated and internationally experienced basketball coach, mentor, and former professional player with over seven years of global playing and leadership experience. Committed to developing players’ skills, mindset, and character both on and off the court. Known for his strategic coaching approach, motivational leadership, and passion for guiding the next generation of athletes.

- Seven years of international professional basketball experience, competing with elite clubs across multiple countries
- Lead Academy Coach & Senior Player for Team Solent Kestrels (UK) — oversaw player development, managed youth programs, and coordinated academy operations
