Warm-Up Form Shooting (20 Makes)

  • 10 one-hand form shots (right side)
  • 10 one-hand form shots (left side)

Total: 20


Mid-Range Series (50 Makes)

5 spots (Corner, Wing, Top, Wing, Corner)

  • 5 makes off the catch
  • 5 makes off 1-dribble pull-up

10 makes × 5 spots = 50

Running Total: 70


Three-Point Series (50 Makes)

5 spots

  • 5 catch-and-shoot
  • 5 shot fake → one-dribble three

10 makes × 5 spots = 50

Running Total: 120


Finishing Into Jumper (40 Makes)

Alternate sides.

  • 10 Floaters
  • 10 Pull-up jumpers
  • 10 Step-backs
  • 10 Side-step threes

Rules

  • 🏀 Every shot is game speed.
  • 🎯 Hold your follow-through.
  • 📈 Track your attempts (don’t just count makes).
  • 💨 If you miss 2 in a row from a spot, reset mentally before continuing.
  • ⏱️ Goal: Finish in 45–60 minutes.

This is a workout I’d have most middle school and high school players do because it covers:

  • Form shooting
  • Catch-and-shoot
  • Pull-ups
  • Floaters
  • Footwork
  • Creating space
  • Free throws under fatigue

It’s simple, repeatable, and develops shots that translate directly into games.
